Business Head - SAARC
Krishna Khatwani is the Business Head – SAARC at Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. He is associated with Godrej since 2019 and has worked across geographies and channels in the India business before taking up the international role. As a true blue FMCG professional, he has worked with Marico, Reckitt and Kraft Heinz previously across Sales and Marketing roles with over 20 years of total work experience. This spans a diverse set of categories from personal care, home care, food and beverages.
He loves building diverse teams and is adept at managing direct and indirect business relationships. His key skills are PnL management, competitive analysis and building strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers. He is passionate about motivating, developing and aligning his team members towards meaningful execution of organisational objectives to create value for the company and society.
In his free time, he prefers to spend time with his family and follows a diverse set of sports across the globe. His favourite activity is to try different types of cuisines at any given opportunity.
Chief Financial Officer, SAARC
Sandip Halder is Chief Financial Officer, SAARC, Godrej Consumer Products Limited.
He joined our team in 2016, prior to which he was associated with Mundipharma Bangladesh Pvt. Ltd., where he worked for five years as the Head of Finance and Accounts. He has also held various managerial roles as a Chartered Accountant at BRAC-AARONG and ACNABIN.
Sandip is a qualified Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) and Fellow Cost and Management Accountant (FCMA), along with being an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Additionally, he holds an MBA from the University of Dhaka.
His expertise in financial reporting, financial controls and management, banking and treasury management, auditing, strategic management, budgetary controls, process improvement, taxation, compliance, corporate affairs, etc., has greatly helped him in his career.
In his free time, he loves to play chess and badminton, and travel with his family and friends. Sandip is married to Shibani and they have two sons Samudra and Sourik.
Head - Sales
Ritesh Ranjan Barua is Head - Sales, Godrej Bangladesh.
Ritesh joined us in January 2023 from Lafarge Holcim Bangladesh Ltd, where he was Divisional Sales Manager and Head of Sales Operations. He comes with vast experience in sales and has previously worked with Bangladesh Edible Oil Limited (BEOL) and Nestle Bangladesh Limited in multiple sales roles.
Ritesh has an MBA in Operations and Supply Chain from the University of Chittagong, and a BBA from the University of Dhaka with a major in Marketing.
He is very passionate about reading and travelling, and also loves to spend his time with family and friends. Ritesh is married to Priyanka and spends his free time playing with his son Dipanjan.
Head - Supply Chain Operations
Gopal Dwivedi is Head - Supply Chain Operations, Godrej Bangladesh.
Gopal was appointed to his current role in April 2022, prior to which he held multiple roles within Godrej since joining the team in 1993. He started his career as a Mechanical Engineer in 1991 with Indo Gulf Explosives Ltd., followed by short stints with PepsiCo and a few other organisations.
Gopal completed his Executive MBA in Operations Management from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in the year 2008.
He comes with significant experience in automation, NPD executions, project management, innovation, TQM, TPM, demand planning and procurement, and in warehousing and developing Quality Circle teams to improve operational efficiencies.
Gopal loves challenging and exciting working environments. He is also very passionate about sports and enjoys playing cricket and watching football.
Head – Marketing, Bangladesh and Nepal
Bhaskar Kumar Dey is Head – Marketing for Godrej Bangladesh and Nepal.
He joined the organisation in June 2022. Bhaskar began his career in 2014 with Airtel Bangladesh as a young leader. In his last role, he was part of the Marketing Leadership team at Marico Bangladesh Limited, where he led the Hair Cleansing, Male Grooming and Hair Serum categories.
Bhaskar graduated from the Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka. He has worked across different industries, specialising in brand and product-led roles, and has led diverse teams across several categories.
In his free time, Bhaskar enjoys travelling and exploring new cultures and cuisines. He is married to Ashapurna, and they have a daughter, Ira.
